What is the XRPL Rug Registry?

A public, permanent record of XRP Ledger tokens that rugged, drained, or died on-chain, maintained by Cerberus Index. It combines confirmed-rug issuers (blocklisted from real trading losses) with tokens the daily outcome checker has found dead on-chain.

A permanent, public record of XRP Ledger tokens that rugged, drained, or died — with the on-chain evidence. Confirmed rugs are issuers that took real money; the live list below is every token the accuracy engine has since found dead on-chain.

How we classify — and what we won't claim

A "rug" is a specific, evidenced event, not a vibe. We follow the convention the wider market uses — removing the liquidity is the defining act — and we grade the evidence before we publish a label:

Confirmed rug — documented evidence the liquidity was pulled, dusted, or the token was relaunched after a pull. Permanent, and named below.
Dead on-chain — the daily outcome checker found the pool drained, deleted or frozen. Measured, not asserted.
Watch list — an issuer our pipeline flagged for a reason that is not rug evidence (for example it closed a position on a stop-loss). That's price action. We will not call it a rug, and it does not by itself make a token unsafe.

Signals we weigh on the live check, in line with how the XRPL community reads risk: issuer blackholed (supply fixed, settings frozen — a positive signal, the same one XRPScan and Bithomp tag), clawback and global freeze (issuer can seize or immobilise your tokens), pool depth, LP-token burn, and holder concentration. A false accusation is as damaging as a missed rug, so the tiers above never collapse into one another.
